Project Title:

Emergence – Digital Painting

Brief Overview:

A vibrant digital painting crafted in Procreate, translating an expressive sketch into an emotive, dynamic artwork.

Problem or Goal:

I aimed to visually capture the complex interplay of emotion and movement through color and form, emphasizing human vulnerability and strength.

My Role:

From sketch to final digital rendering, I personally developed each stage of this piece, experimenting extensively with color blending techniques and expressive brush strokes.

Approach & Process:

I began with an intuitive sketch focusing on gesture and emotional resonance. Using Procreate, I translated this sketch into a digital format, employing bold colors and contrasting tones to evoke depth and tension. Layering and texture brushes allowed me to achieve the striking visual impact and emotional depth seen in the final painting.

Outcome & Results:

The completed artwork effectively communicates the intended emotional narrative, resonating strongly with viewers and demonstrating my proficiency in digital painting techniques and emotional storytelling.

Tools Used:

Procreate, iPad Pro

Project Title:

Hope – Abstract Poster Design

Brief Overview:

An evocative abstract poster designed in Adobe Illustrator, representing the nuanced emotion of hope through color, form, and spatial dynamics.

Problem or Goal:

I sought to express the complexity of hope—simultaneously accessible yet distant—using abstract shapes and strategic visual barriers to create emotional depth.

My Role:

I conceptualized and fully executed the design independently, handling all aspects from initial sketches to the final digital rendering.

Approach & Process:

Using Adobe Illustrator, I explored abstract shapes and calming color palettes to symbolize the gentle and persistent nature of hope. The bold geometric lines strategically placed across the design symbolize emotional barriers, intentionally creating distance between the viewer and the concept—as if one is an outsider observing hope from afar.

Outcome & Results:

The finished artwork invites contemplation and successfully evokes the dual experience of closeness and separation, effectively communicating the intended emotional narrative to viewers.

Project Title:

Skater’s Best Friend– Acrylic Painting

Brief Overview:

An expressive acrylic painting capturing the lively essence of a playful dog alongside a skateboard at a vibrant skate park, created from a personal photographic reference.

Problem or Goal:

My goal was to portray the joyful and energetic personality of the dog while capturing the dynamic atmosphere of the skate park environment through expressive brushwork.

My Role:

I independently handled the entire creative process, from photographing the reference scene to completing the acrylic painting.

Approach & Process:

The process began with taking an original photograph at the skate park, followed by sketching the composition onto canvas. I then applied block colors to establish the base tones and structure, progressively adding shading and expressive brushwork to capture movement and playful energy. Attention to color selection and composition emphasized the interaction between the dog, skateboard, and vibrant textures of the skate park.

Outcome & Results:

The completed painting successfully evokes the playful and dynamic character of the scene, resonating emotionally with viewers and vividly bringing the energetic moment to life.

Tools Used:

Camera (photography), acrylic paints, canvas

Project Title:

Neon Gaze – Live Portrait Sketch to Digital Painting

Brief Overview:

A stylized digital painting derived from a live portrait sketch, blending expressive line work with bold neon tones to capture mood and emotion.

Problem or Goal:

My intention was to explore the transition from traditional observation-based sketching to experimental digital rendering, using color and form to enhance expression and emotion.

My Role:

I sketched the portrait live, then digitized and enhanced it using digital tools to layer color and emphasize key features through minimal, vibrant outlines.

Approach & Process:

Starting with a live sketch from observation, I captured the subject’s pose and mood with expressive line work. I then transitioned to a digital workspace where I reinterpreted the portrait using neon color overlays, focusing on dynamic contrast, layered stroke effects, and simplicity. The minimalistic yet electric style emphasizes emotion while keeping the form clear and fluid.

Outcome & Results:

The final piece retains the immediacy and intimacy of a live sketch while gaining new visual intensity through digital techniques. It reflects a successful fusion of analog process with digital experimentation.

Tools Used:

Ink sketch (original), Procreate (digital painting)
